Pharm (Mrs) Dayo Adetola holds a Master’s degree in Marketing from the University of Salford, United Kingdom and also a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife. She is a fellow of three prestigious professional bodies in Nigeria namely - Fellow of Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria, Nigerian Institute of Training and Development (NITAD) as well as Fellow of National Institute of Marketing of Nigeria (FNIMN). Dayo Adetola, a Certified and Accredited Trainer, with over three decades of working experience as a pharmacist. She graduated from Obafemi Awolowo University Ile- Ife where she finished as the Overall Best Graduating Student in the Department of Pharmaceutics in her set.

Adetola started her career in Pharmaceutical Sales and Marketing with Brian Munro (SKG Pharma) where she was responsible for Sales and Marketing of the company’s range of Pharmaceutical and Consumer Health products in South Western part of Nigeria before joining GlaxoSmithKline (GSK). At GSK, she rose through the ranks occupying various Managerial positions in Sales and Marketing Departments.

Before leaving GlaxoSmithkline, to start a private practice, she was the Head of Training for Anglophone West Africa Pharmaceutical Operations and as a trainer, she was groomed both on local and international levels.

Adetola is a trained Trainer by International Labour Organization(ILO) on how to Start and Improve Your Business (SIYB) and also Generate Business Ideas (GYBI) hence she trains Entrepreneurs and Potential Entrepreneurs on business issues – this has enabled her consulting firm BORSCON & CO to conduct several training programs for pre-retirees of organizations in order to enable them start and run small-scale businesses profitably after retirement. She is Certified by Industrial Training Fund in Nigeria (ITF) and also a Certified Health Safety and Environment (HSE) Trainer. Adetola holds a Post-Graduate Certificate in Global Mental Health from the University of Washington, USA.

Adetola is a recipient of numerous awards and recognition. She is a mentor to younger generations of Pharmacists and has been invited on different occasions as a speaker to provide career guidance to fresh Pharmacy graduates of University of Port-Harcourt as well as University of Lagos (UNILAG).

Adetola is the Principal Consultant/CEO for BORSCON & CO, a Human Capital Development Firm providing Services for several companies in the country (both indigenous and multinational). Since inception of her consulting firm about twenty years ago, the organization has been opportune to train thousands of participants in sales and marketing as well as in leadership roles across industries
